The letter below has been emailed to Grant Shapps Secretary of State for Transport, Baroness Vere Under Secretary of State for Transport, and Loveday Ryder CEO DVSA with senior DVSA staff included to encourage a change in the law to extend the expiry date on theory certificates. 07.12.2020 | Further to many questions and concerns from instructors about procedures at waiting rooms that are now open, we asked DVSA for some clarity on expected procedures. DVSA were kind enough to supply us with the slides their TCMs use where possible to inform local instructors. Read them here
The slides are, mainly for England and Wales, the conditions will be the same in Scotland with more distance between seating and less occupancy.
These conditions will apply as more waiting rooms are open.

Working with DVSA we have also produced a video demonstrating what the changes may look like in practice.
